French Toast

If you are missing out on this delicious breakfast treat because of allergies, this is a perfect recipe for you! Gluten, dairy and egg free!

Makes 6 pieces of French Toast

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 4 minutes (6 minutes if you are using real eggs)


Ingredients

9 tablespoons Just Egg (or 3 large eggs if you don’t have an egg allergy)

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

3/4 tablespoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar


Directions

  1. On a large flat plate whisk egg, almond extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside.

  2. And a small bowl mix the white and brown sugar. Set aside.

  3. Preheat flat skillet or large pan to medium. Lightly spray with olive oil.

  4. Dip your bread slices on each side until fully covered in egg mixture. Drip off access.

  5. Cook for two minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another two minutes. While the second side is cooking, sprinkle on the brown and white sugar mixture. (Cook each side for 3 minutes if you are using real eggs)

  6. Top with your favorite fruit and breakfast sausage. Drizzle your favorite syrup on top.

  7. Enjoy!
