8 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 1/2 teaspoonschili powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 pound asparagus
8 ounces deli honey ham
16 ounces thick sliced hardwood smoked bacon
Preheat the oven to 400°F .
Wash and dry the asparagus. Cut off the white ends of the asparagus. Then cut asparagus in half.
Cut the bacon and ham in half.
On a medium plate mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, chili, garlic, cinnamon and cayenne together.
Take three pieces of the halved asparagus, roll in half slice of ham, wrap bacon around next and roll in the spiced seasoning mixture. Set on a large baking sheet.
Continue these steps until all the asparagus is gone.
Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve.
